Tom is a Certified Public Accountant and Financial Advisor. He has owned and operated his Tax and Financial Advisory practice for the past 30 years. His client base has expanded from one client at inception to over one hundred clients at present. He holds the Series 6, 62, 63 and 65 Securities Licenses; and the Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License.
Tom is also the Founder and Executive Director of the Global Peace Building Foundation (GPBF), a non-profit corporation www.globalpeacebuilding.org.
Tom holds the Master of Arts degree in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science,cum laude, from Duquesne University.
Tom currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with his wife, Phyllis Etzel. Tom and Phyllis have three children, Kristen, Katie and Mark; a son-in-law, Aaron; daughters-in-law, Nikki and Katie; and grandsons, Elliott, Sullivan, Gilmore, Dashal, Hobson Thomas & Thatcher.
